His journey started in London, on his new "Douglas" motorbike. It had been given to him by the company & specially fitted so he could carry his equipment, spares & essentials. He ended.his journey at his parents home in the States 2 days before Xmas the following year. 272 pages. Over 132 b/w photographs and 60 b./w. illustrations by the author. Endpages illustrated with map of the globe showing his route. Previous owner's name on f.e.p. o/w contents very good. Cover is rubbed on edges, corners, & ends of spine. No d./w. 1938
